Many dinosaur types were widespread across it. Earlier, God had instructed Noah, saying: And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. In: Wolberg DL, Stump E, Rosenberg GD, editors. Therizinosaurs are the strangest dinosaurs ever discovered. Thus the dinosaurs must have been endothermic. The apostle John declared that “all things were made by Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:3).

Some dinosaurs had armor and horns, and some even had primitive feathers. The amount of resources required by an individual depends on its body size and its BMR. These creatures dominated the landscape far longer than humans have been around, but many mysteries remain about their appearance, physiology and eventual extinction. And although there were air passages on the inside of the crest, these were strangely shaped, and not really ideal for storing air.

The stress being applied to the bone while the animal is standing can then be calculated by dividing the weight of the animal by the bone cross sectional area.

It may be helpful to learn what is involved in making an estimate of a dinosaur’s mass. In the Jurassic period, the main group of armored dinosaurs was the stegosaurian group, the most familiar of which is stegosaurus from what is now the United States. There is also evidence that this mass burials of Dinosaurs was recent within the last 40 thousand years and not 70 million years; with thousands of bones that lack any significant degree of per-mineralization.

It lived in the Late Jurassic period, about 150 million years ago. Adult sauropods presumably were almost immune from predation because their body mass was an order of magnitude greater than that of the largest predators. Its head seems too big to hold up and “it’s too extreme to be true.” Still, Brougham acknowledges that reminders of nature’s whimsy does not give him license to speculate as many illustrators have done, putting, for example, proboscises or caruncles on a variety of dinosaur body parts.

From my point of view (although I presume not from yours!) you are caught in a contradiction here. There aren't too many Great/Middle Stock Dinosaurs (Tyrannosaurus, Deinonychus, Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, Styracosaurus), while Little-Stock / Non-Stock animals are numerous (Albertosaurus, Centrosaurus, Lambeosaurus, Oviraptor, Giganotosaurus, Leaellynasaura, Troodon, Daspletosaurus, Hypacrosaurus, Thescelosaurus, Saurornithoides and the enigmatic Serendipaceratops). Small mammals, although not significant during the time, did exist during this era.

This is often cited as an example of macroevolution. [43] Some evolutionary scientists assert that if human bones aren’t found with dinosaur bones, then dinosaurs and man didn’t live together. [44] [45] Creation scientists point out that this is a false assumption; if human bones aren’t found buried with dinosaur bones, it simply means they weren't buried together. [44] Evolutionists speculate that radiometric dating of rocks containing dinosaur bones indicates them to have formed between 65 million years ago and 250 million years ago, whereas rocks with human bones in them are dated as being much newer (less than 5 million years old).

By the Cretaceous, the continents had broken apart, many of them beginning to look like the continents of today. Adam and Eve lived in a lovely garden in a place called Eden. Paleontologists don't know for certain, but perhaps a large body size protected them from most predators, helped to regulate internal body temperature, or let them reach new sources of food (some probably browsed treetops, as giraffes do today).

As I hoped to convey in my talk, much of the reason for this situation comes from the fact that many artists paid to illustrate fossil animals for books and such are given minimal advice (or no advice at all), are working to near-impossible deadlines, and are working for peanuts. Then we made our own Dinosaur feet to stomp around in. C.), an Arab map of India, four Portuguese maps of the Indian Ocean and China, and his uncle Kemal's bequest, "a map drawn by Colombus in the western region.

Modern endotherms have various kinds of insulation: blubber, fur, feathers, and down. For example, when one scientist discovered a dinosaur that had a large, curved, sharp claw on each hind foot, he named it Deinonychus (dy noh NIHK uhs), or "terrible claw." He was also confident that the planet was bathed in darkness. Recent discoveries are beginning to challenge the notion that few dinosaurs lived along the Pacific Coast. It was also said that, when attacked, sauropods would hide in the water; their nostrils were located in the top of the skull so they could breathe while submerged and escape the fearsome carnivores of their time (which were thought to be unable to swim).
