Since such release discards the most efficient means for achieving enlightenment, it is called "giving up bodhichitta." He is said to have specialized in a theory of the xinheart-mind and to have argued that socialization in conventional attitudes injected destructive values into the heart. Buddha is said to have "turned the wheel of the dharma" and it therefore became the "wheel of law."
